Official Accreditation
On 21 December 2020, Psychoactive Studios became an official Webflow Agency Partners, marking an important step in the studio’s evolution as a digital design and development agency.
At the time, Webflow adoption in New Zealand was still relatively early. Almond Studio was the first recognised Webflow Partner in the country, with Psychoactive joining shortly after as part of the earliest group of accredited agencies locally.
By late 2020, we had already delivered dozens of Webflow projects across corporate, education, startup and experimental sectors, both in New Zealand and internationally. Formal accreditation reflected the depth of that work and our growing focus on Webflow as our primary development platform.
This early momentum would later contribute to us becoming New Zealand’s first Webflow Enterprise Partner.
Webflow Partnership in 2020
The Webflow Partner Program recognises agencies with proven experience designing and building websites on Webflow.
Becoming a Webflow Partner required:
- A demonstrated portfolio of Webflow projects
- Technical capability across CMS, interactions and custom code
- Consistent client delivery
- Alignment with Webflow’s quality standards
For Psychoactive, the partnership signalled a clear direction. We had moved away from traditional CMS platforms and committed fully to building high-performance, design-led websites in Webflow.
You can explore how this approach has evolved across our portfolio.
Early Adoption in New Zealand
In 2020, most New Zealand agencies were still primarily building on WordPress or other legacy systems. Choosing to specialise in Webflow at that stage positioned Psychoactive at the front of a platform shift that would accelerate significantly over the following years.
This capability now sits at the core of our broader Services offering.
Becoming one of the earliest Webflow Partners in New Zealand established the studio as a dedicated Webflow agency during a formative period for the platform locally.
A Platform We Continue to Build On
Since 2020, Psychoactive has continued to expand its Webflow capability, refining internal systems, strengthening technical processes, and delivering increasingly complex builds for clients in New Zealand and abroad.
Webflow remains central to how we design and develop digital experiences today.
