Each annual iteration represents complete reimagining rather than incremental updates. The gaming industry evolves rapidly - partner lineups change, new formats emerge, expectations shift. Each year is an opportunity to introduce fresh creative direction.

Making a Splash
In the weeks before launch, we design a bespoke poster-style splash screen serving as the digital gateway. These function as teaser campaigns, building anticipation while communicating dates, timing, and updates.

Never Missing a Moment
With events spanning days across time zones and platforms, helping global audiences navigate is critical. We designed signup systems for email and text alerts, plus calendar integration enabling users to add the entire schedule.


The Main Event
The flagship showcase, hosted by Geoff Keighley, anchors the entire week. We designed sections highlighting the event's significance, evolving from a countdown, into the event live streams, and then highlighting post-show content.

Summer Game Fest encompasses far more than the main showcase - it's a comprehensive festival featuring dozens of partner events. Our schedule accommodates multiple daily events across time zones.


Brand Asset Evolution
Summer Game Fest's visual identity centers on a distinctive bubble motif evolving dramatically across iterations. The 2023 version featured dreamlike, translucent spheres with cosmic gradients. The 2024 iteration saw vibrant, amorphous movement. 2025 embraced bold, saturated colors with candy-like orbs against bright pastels. For 2026, we're exploring something completely new.
