Silicon Valley Startup Works With Psychoactive Studios

Aotearoa’s own Evan Cummack was appointed CEO of Fin, a Silicon Valley-based startup, in 2021. Originating from Paraparaumu, Evan's journey in the tech industry led to a significant milestone: a US$24 million Series A funding round led by Coatue, with Arielle Zuckerberg joining the board.​

As the new CEO, Evan sought to redefine Fin's digital presence. He initially engaged Character, a renowned branding and design agency, to conceptualise the website's design. Subsequently, Psychoactive Studios was entrusted with developing the site on Webflow, incorporating interactive modules and animations to enhance user engagement. Our team also conducted workshops to empower Fin's team with the skills to manage their Webflow CMS effectively.

The collaboration resulted in a dynamic and accessible website that showcased Fin's commitment to optimising SaaS data and improving organisational impact. Evan remarked, "The soul of Fin is about doing better work," a sentiment that resonated with our mission at Psychoactive.

Update: Fin.com Ceases Operations

As of 2025, Fin.com is no longer operational. The company's website has been offline for an extended period, and there have been no recent updates on their LinkedIn page or other public platforms. While Fin had previously secured significant funding and was active in the customer experience analytics space, the absence of an online presence and public activity suggests that the company has ceased operations.
