Psychoactive Collaborates with Oasis for ETHDam

A Strategic Collaboration for ETHDam 2024

In 2024 we partnered with Oasis to support their presence at ETHDam in Amsterdam, delivering motion graphics and key website redesign work for their brand and product unveiling. ETHDam, known for bringing together leading voices across Ethereum, DeFi, governance and DAO communities, provided the ideal setting to communicate Oasis’s privacy-focused blockchain infrastructure.

The engagement centred on helping Oasis clearly present complex technical innovation to a global audience of developers, investors and ecosystem contributors.

Translating Complexity into Clarity

Oasis operates at the intersection of privacy, scalability and decentralised infrastructure. Communicating that clearly requires more than visual polish. Technical audiences demand precision, while broader audiences need structure and intuitive navigation.

In fast-moving sectors like web3, technology often evolves more quickly than its communication. Our role was to translate complex infrastructure into a digital experience that felt accessible, credible and aligned with the brand’s long-term vision.

This approach mirrors our earlier exploration into Web3 and digital ownership in projects like Psychoactive Amphibians.

Motion, Narrative and Technical Depth

Leading up to ETHDam, we developed a key motion graphics animation designed to introduce Oasis’s vision during the conference unveiling. The animation acted as a narrative layer, helping contextualise the technical ambition of the network in a format that resonated beyond documentation and whitepapers.

Alongside this, we redesigned and developed core website pages including Start Building, Solutions, Sapphire and Oasis Privacy Layer. Each page balanced deep technical content with clear visual hierarchy and interaction design.

The Oasis website was built in Webflow, enabling a structured CMS architecture designed for scalability. This approach ensured that as Oasis continued evolving its product offering, the underlying system would support expansion and refinement without structural constraints.

Our experience as New Zealand’s first Webflow Enterprise Partner allows us to architect these systems for long-term stability and governance.

Refining the Foundation

We also restructured the homepage, improving hierarchy, spacing, margins and layout logic. These refinements strengthened readability and ensured that key value propositions were immediately clear.

For blockchain platforms operating at infrastructure level, clarity is credibility. When users are evaluating complex technology, friction in communication can undermine trust.

During the engagement, we provided design guidance to help maintain consistency across new pages, interactive diagrams and custom illustrations developed internally by the Oasis team. This ensured cohesion between technical depth and visual presentation.

This level of system thinking aligns with how we approach enterprise-scale platforms through our broader Services.

A Milestone at ETHDam

The unveiling at ETHDam marked a significant moment for Oasis. The motion graphics and refined digital experience provided a cohesive narrative framework for presenting their technology to the wider Ethereum community.

While the collaboration was focused around that milestone, the work established a scalable communication foundation designed to support Oasis as its ecosystem expanded.

As privacy, decentralised infrastructure and AI continue to intersect, the need for clear digital storytelling within complex technical industries only increases. Projects like this demonstrate how thoughtful design can help emerging technologies communicate with confidence.
