Sega develops, publishes and distributes some of the worlds best and most well known interactive Games such as Sonic or Football Manager. Psychoactive Studio builds beautiful, immersive websites for game developers and producers around the world. We’d love to chat with your team about the opportunity of working together to enhance Sega’s digital presence. Let's push the boundaries of the web together.
The Sega web experience is currently built in a way that different websites are served to different regions. Users enter the top-level website, and are then funnelled into their specific region. Each region has a website that has been designed and developed differently, yet they all share similar content. The quality of these sites ranges drastically between regions.
To make the Sega user experience more consistent, and to better represent the company's quality of games, we would recommend creating a single website with a content management system (CMS) that allows Sega to update content in one easy to manage place, as well as serve different content and languages to specific regions. We understand that delivering this improvement may require buy-in from stakeholders around the world, but we believe in the future of Sega, and see this as an improvement that should happen sooner than later.
Psychoactive are an outstanding bunch of people - they’re friendly, knowledgeable, and hardworking. They took our ideas and realised them in the form of a gorgeous website that works well and makes sense for the end user. Thanks again team, you’re all marvellous.
Balancing Money Games
We worked with Psychoactive to deliver a suite of new websites for our businesses and were blown away by the talent. The whole team are great to deal with - extremely talented, friendly, knowledgeable, and hardworking. They took our concepts and delivered world class websites for us.
Andrew and the team at Psychoactive are fantastic. They’re highly responsive, culturally and emotionally aware, and see the world through a distinctive lens. I highly recommend them, especially for projects where a “normal” agency won’t do - they just get it.
