Embark on “Hellboy Web of Wyrd,” a roguelite action-adventure blending Mike Mignola’s Hellboy universe with dynamic combat. Developed with Good Shepard and Dark Horse Comics, the game features an exclusive story, challenging enemies, and puzzles. Our one-page website mirrors the game and comic’s essence with interactive comic elements. It captures the gritty and visceral feel, immersing visitors in Hellboy’s mythic world with every click.
Killer Klowns from Outer Space: The Game is an asymmetrical multiplayer horror based on the iconic ‘80s film. This website is full of unexpected fun, glitch effects, and moving elements to immerse users in the retro horror film vibe. With so many cool game assets to show off, we wanted to create an innovative and interactive way to display multiple angles of each one. Klown hands follow the mouse trying to grab you and film items pop out toward you while exploring the characters, weapons, and maps of the game.
The goal for this project was to create a corporate website encapsulating both Good Shepherd brand identity and high-calibre game portfolio. We created a gallery on the homepage and implemented a bespoke filtering system, allowing website visitors to search through the company's extensive portfolio without having to navigate through a complex user experience. A primary focus during this project was to highlight the companies exceptional workmanship and no bullsh*t approach to collaboration. By creating inner pages for each game on the website, we were able to depict each game narrative, including characters, video trailers and artwork.
Homicidal All Stars is a turn-based combat game where contestants on a brutal reality TV game show of the future must survive a deadly urban environment. With a fixed frame the website acts like a live broadcast of the game, as if the user is watching it through a grainy, futuristic, cyber-punk television. To capture the hectic and violent personality of this game, we used blood splatters, sparks and fire all around the site. This personality is perfectly captured in the hero, where flashing lights and animations collide with characters which respond to cursor movement.
Hard West 2 is a supernatural journey to the dark heart of the West. With a gun full of lead and a fistful of witchcraft, raise an outlaw posse and chase down the devil to take back what’s theirs. This website features full screen videos showcasing real gameplay and screenshots with clickable elements that are responsive across all devices. A clean and simple side navigation allows users to quickly jump anywhere on this single page site. Even the footer is made captivating with a slideshow of epic illustrations from the game.
Monster Train is a strategic roguelike deck building game with a twist. Our team incorporated parallax effects on the website hero, giving the game assets a sense of liveliness and motion. CSS interactions were used to create flippable cards, showcasing all characters and clans. We utilised assets from Monster Train such as buttons, text effects, and frames to keep the website consistent with the game.
In The Eternal Cylinder, players control a herd of adorable creatures called Trebhums. This unique alien ecosystem, real-time world destruction, animal AI, organic exploration, and puzzle design all combine to deliver an unforgettable adventure. We aimed to emphasise in-game assets and use minimal UI throughout the site. Interactive elements give users the chance to learn about the creatures and explore different mutations.
