Platform requirements
Talent Army needed a website that could do more than list jobs. The platform had to communicate technical credibility, reflect startup culture, support rapid growth, and serve two distinct audiences without feeling corporate or transactional. This requirement shaped every design and technical decision that followed.

Storytelling through motion and illustration
Illustration and motion form the backbone of the experience. A bespoke 3D illustration system, designed and produced in-house, visualises company growth, startup culture, and technical fluency. Animation, micro-interactions, and scroll-based transitions are used deliberately to guide users and reinforce the narrative, not decorate the interface.

A job board designed to feel human
At the core of the platform is a custom job board powered by a JobAdder to Webflow API integration. Talent Army continues to manage roles within their existing system, while candidates experience a clean, CMS-driven interface with advanced filtering, custom icons, and clear role metadata.

Culture, place, and inclusivity
The site reflects Talent Army’s culture through original photography, local references, and diverse character design within the illustration system. Te Reo Māori translations across key navigation elements reinforce a strong sense of place while supporting a globally relevant brand.

Designing for a dual marketplace
The website was structured around two distinct user pathways for employers and candidates. Each pathway was designed with its own content hierarchy, calls to action, and success criteria, ensuring clarity without forcing users through a single, linear journey.

Built to scale on Webflow
The platform was developed in Webflow with a flexible CMS, enabling the team to publish jobs and content with ease. Performance, SEO foundations, analytics, and structured content were built in from the outset to support long-term growth.
